8 Days Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro

Route Overview

Short Description

8 Days Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro – The Lemosho route is one of the newest and most scenic routes on Mount Kilimanjaro, offering a unique and rewarding climbing experience. Starting in the west, this route crosses the Shira Plateau from Shira Ridge to Shira Camp, providing a quieter, more tranquil ascent compared to other routes like Machame. Climbers will enjoy breathtaking panoramic vistas of the mountain’s diverse landscapes throughout the journey.

The 8 Days Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro is considered the most beautiful route, with less traffic, allowing for a more peaceful experience. After crossing the Shira Plateau, the route joins the Machame path and follows the classic southern circuit through Lava Tower, Barranco, and Barafu. This extended 8-day itinerary is ideal, as it allows for better acclimatization, significantly improving the chances of reaching the summit.

The minimum number of days required for the Lemosho route is six, but an eight-day climb is highly recommended for a safer and more enjoyable experience. With its combination of stunning scenery, lower traffic, and a high success rate, the 8 Days Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro is one of the most favored climbing options. We highly recommend this route for those seeking an unforgettable adventure on Africa’s highest peak!
